After two long years, the Rush Order team was excited to be back in-person at a major industry event. The Inspired Home Show did not disappoint at Chicago’s McCormick Place on March 5th -7th, 2022.
Previously known as the International Home and Housewares Exhibition, brands from around the world showcased their new innovations, including several fast-growing Rush Order clients.
One of the major takeaways from the show is the preponderance of technology products continuing to find their way into every aspect of our daily lives. Inspired Home felt aptly named as we talked to many technology brands at the show. At times, it almost felt like we were standing in a smaller version of CES with a friendlier midwestern vibe.

One of Rush Order’s newest clients, Oliso, is a great example. Their new smart irons are a cool twist on an age-old product category by adding technological value to consumers’ lives with additional functionality and safety.
Another successful Rush Order client in action at the show was CookingPal. Packing more and more functionality into fewer kitchen devices is clearly appealing to consumers in today’s market. CookingPal leverages cutting edge technology to create simple solutions in a fast-growing market.

In general, attendees and exhibitors we spoke with all mentioned the opportunity to learn more about new product innovation and reconnect with the most important industry leaders. The success of The Inspired Home Show again demonstrates how popular and necessary events are… Something we’ve nearly lost sight of over the last couple years.
From innovative displays to keynote lectures and awards, the event provided a refreshing glimpse into the value technology products can bring to traditionally non-tech categories.
We left the event “inspired”, as advertised, and hope you have an opportunity to join us next year!
